Add any free trial or recurring subscription in seconds, set a custom reminder, and get notified before the payment hits. Track monthly/yearly costs and see how much you’ve saved by cancelling. Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Ahmedul, and together with my friend Awsaf Rahman we built TrialGuard.
Like many of you, we’ve signed up for free trials, forgotten about them, and got charged weeks later. It happened enough times that we decided to solve it ourselves.
TrialGuard is a simple Android app that lets you:
• Add any free trial or subscription
• Set when you want to be reminded
• Track how much you’re spending (and how much you’ve saved by cancelling)
Everything is stored locally on your phone.
No account. No bank login. No tracking.
We wanted something small, useful, and respectful of privacy.
It’s live on Google Play → https://play.google.com/store/ap...
Would love your feedback — what features would make this even more useful for you?
Thanks for checking it out!
— Ahmedul & Awsaf

Love that everything stays local, that's a huge plus for me. One thing that would make it perfect is letting me set reminders based on "X days before the trial converts" instead of always picking a specific calendar date — it would save me from doing the math every time I add something.

Hi@ravzapyjn. Great point — TrialGuard already supports preset reminders like 1, 3, and 7 days before the first billing date, but your comment made me realize I should make that clearer and add a custom “X days before conversion” option.
I’m also considering adding trial-length presets like 7-day, 14-day, and 30-day trials so users don’t have to calculate the first billing date manually. Thanks for the useful feedback!

Hi @ravzapyjn! Thanks again for your feedback. We just released v2.0 which officially adds Duration-Based Entry! ⚡️
You can now set trial lengths (7d, 14d, etc.) using new counters that handle the billing date calculation automatically. It’s much faster and eliminates the 'math' entirely.
I’d love for you to try out the update and let us know what you think. Your input directly made the app better! 🛡️✨
