Plan a trip with friends on one live map. Everyone edits the same days, so nobody is working off a stale copy. Notes, budget, packing lists and travel documents live on the trip instead of six other apps. About Treader
Treader is a collaborative travel planner built around a real map. You drop places on it, drag them into days, and everyone on the trip edits the same plan at the same time. Cursors, comments, chat and a change log are built in, so nobody is going from group chat to google doc past their bedtime.
Planning. Search real places on a vector map with clustered categories, satellite and hybrid views. Build multi-day itineraries with drag-to-reorder stops, per-day route colours, and real walking, cycling, driving and transit routing. Treader flags days that do not fit, optimizes the order, and paces GPX and KML routes with Naismith timing. Paste a booking confirmation or a blog post and the flights, hotels and places file themselves into the trip.
Scout, the AI travel planner. Describe a day in a sentence and Scout maps the route, finds places and answers questions as you go. It reads your actual trip rather than guessing, and on paid plans it applies the changes it proposes.
The day itself. Today mode shows what is next. Opening hours are checked against the stop's own date, last train home probes the final departure for the night you are out, and live flight status pushes delay alerts. The trip map keeps drawing with no signal.
Money. Per-stop costs, an automatic budget, receipts, fuel fill-ups, idea polls and a shareable settle-up card. A packing list built from your route and the forecast. A Travel Data vault for passports and documents, with entry rules for 54 countries, and an AI-assisted claim builder that goes after up to $1,000 when a flight is delayed or you are bumped.
Sharing. Publish a trip to a public page, subscribe to it from Apple, Outlook or Google Calendar, or let someone start their own trip from yours in one tap.
