Congrats on the launch
question - how is "TravelBoard" different to other travel planning apps, which are accessible without the pay-wall ?

Thanks @petr_ash
I believe my main competitor is Wanderlog, so here is a comparison sheet.
Travelboard vs Wanderlog
- flat fee of $5 per holiday vs freemium with a $50 per year subscription
- Less cluttered interface and easier to modify
- No recommendation of hotels, flights or activities inside the app: Plenty of website do that better and for me that has no place in a tool.
Essentially on Wanderlog (and some others), as a user I always felt the target of upselling rather than as if I bought a product and was free to use it.
Obviously a lot of people don't mind and that's fine as well, I don't feel like both apps can't coexist.

Hey ProductHunt!
My wife and I enjoy travelling a lot, locally or to the other side of the world. When we travel, we love to first research the place, look at vlogs, guide books, recommendations...
But keeping track of all of that on paper or even a generic note taking app was too cumbersome. That's why I initially created an MVP just for us to organise our trips.
And you know what? Two years later it still seemed like a good idea so I took that MVP and turned it into an actual product.
Introducing Travelboard. You can organise each day of your travel on a board or on a map, move things around easily with dragndrop, illustrate each activity with an embedded image search so that you can enjoy each day of your trip to the max.
