I built Travel Shield AI because I grew tired of feeling targeted by predatory banking traps every time I stood at a foreign ATM or retail checkout counter abroad.
We have all experienced that confusing terminal prompt asking whether we want to settle a bill in our "Home Currency" or the "Local Currency." These screens are intentionally engineered by global payment processors to exploit tired travelers through a multi-billion-dollar mechanism called Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC).
