After a trip to Japan, I found myself scrolling through my camera roll, trying to figure out exactly which neighborhoods my photos belonged to. Whether that was Akihabara, Shibuya, or Yokohama, I loved visualizing exactly where I was in the city when I snapped a specific shot.
Alongside this, when swapping travel stories with friends, conversations often turned into a game of memory trivia: "Did you make it to Ueno?" or "Did you find that outdoor seafood market?" I kept wishing I could just pull up a map and see my exact footprint from the vacation.
That’s why I built the Travel Bug. It is a completely subscription-free hardware device that silently tracks your travel paths and automatically pins your photos to a map, precisely where you took them.
