Trasimene is an all-in-one mobile security app for Android and iPhone, on the App Store and Google Play. It does more than scan files like a plain antivirus: it combines an antivirus, a filtering DNS proxy, a WireGuard VPN, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), an encrypted password vault and data breach monitoring in a single app. In short, a miniature security operations center in your pocket: an approach once reserved for large companies, now open to everyone. Made in Paris, no ads.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mohamed, founder of Trasimène (Paris, France).
Why I built this
A company protects itself with a security operations center: several layers of tools (antivirus, DNS filtering, VPN, intrusion detection, password management, breach monitoring) and people watching the alerts. An individual gets a scan button and some ads. Yet our phones now hold more of our lives than our laptops: banking, identity, photos, two-factor codes. I built Trasimène to give one person the same layered protection a large company has, in a single app that explains its results in plain language.
What is in the app
- Antivirus. Android: detects malware, spyware and stalkerware in installed apps and APK files, flags dangerous permissions, root and tampering. iPhone: checks device integrity and jailbreak signs, outdated iOS, risky configuration profiles and sideloaded apps.
- Filtering DNS proxy. Every domain your phone looks up through Trasimène is checked against a blocklist of known malicious sites, phishing pages and command-and-control servers, and stopped before the connection opens.
- VPN. WireGuard protocol, servers in 19 countries, unlimited data.
- Intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS). Watches your network for fake Wi-Fi hotspots, DNS hijacking, man-in-the-middle attacks and phishing.
- Password vault. AES-256-GCM encrypted storage for passwords, notes and files.
- Data breach monitoring. Alerts you when your email address appears in a known leak.
- Bonus: a QR code and link checker that verifies a URL before it opens.
Every alert comes with a plain-language explanation and what to do about it, with the exact path in your phone's settings when there is one.
How it works
The app stays light: your phone collects the signals and our servers do the analysis against threat intelligence refreshed continuously, so detection improves without waiting for an app update. On iPhone, Apple's sandbox means no app can look inside other apps, so Trasimène focuses on what can be measured there: the device, the network and your identity, with the same alerts as on Android.
The company is based in Paris and GDPR compliant. No ads. Your first scan is free and needs no account, so you can see what the app finds on your own phone before deciding anything (pricing is in the app).
What feedback would help most
1. Is the dashboard clear to someone who is not into security? Which result made you think "what does this mean?"
2. Which alerts should push a notification, and which should stay quietly in the app? I would rather be useful than noisy.
3. Security folks: which layer would you want to see next, and why?
I'll be in the comments all day. Ask me anything, including the hard questions.
