So excited to bring to you Trapi, a Travel API marketplace that enables travel sellers to integrate with travel related APIs in minutes instead of months, and at a fraction of the cost! Josh & I started Trapi because of the pains we lived with AmigoGo, our first business. AmigoGo (acquired by Snowfall, March 2023) was a B2C mobile app that solved the pains and aches of planning trips with friends and family. It took us 5 months to integrate with Skyscanner's flight & hotel APIs... and those are supposed to be the 'simpler' ones! AmigoGo had an innovative UI & UX, but the barriers of entry were too high for us to be competitive when it came to price, content & functionality, against larger online travel agencies. If only it were cheaper & time efficient to integrate to these APIs! Hence this is our mission, our goal is to lower barriers of entry, enabling innovate products to bring travel tech to new heights!
