I'm Eric, founder of Trakvu. This started from watching people close to me get 3-4 contractor bids for a renovation and have no real way to compare them beyond "which number is smaller", no visibility into what's actually included, no way to catch red flags, no way to know if a low bid means corner-cutting later.

Vague line items are usually where scope creep and surprise change orders hide later on. Instead of forcing you to hunt through pages of PDF fine print, Trakvu surfaces those ambiguities instantly and adds them directly into a generated Clarification Questions section. That way, you can easily send them straight to the contractor to get clear answers before signing anything.

Unspecified materials or vague descriptions are one of the biggest reasons home renovations go over budget. Our goal was to build a tool that acts like an experienced friend looking over your shoulder, spotting the gaps you might miss so you aren't left paying for hidden costs down the road.
