Tractor Loader

A webpack loader to help with crops and image adjustments.

A webpack loader to help with crops and other image adjustments. It edits images based on an inline URL syntax. Integrates cleanly with the NextJS image loader and next dev. Transformations are performed at build time and have no impact on performance.

I wrote Tractor Loader because I wanted an easy way to alter images on my NextJS site without leaving my editor, and I wanted it to be a build-time solution to avoid any runtime performance penalties. I also wanted to explore what it was like publishing an npm package which I had never had the opportunity to do before now. Tractor loader is very little code; it's mostly just a wrapper around Sharp (https://github.com/lovell/sharp). An interesting thing about it is I used CoPilot and ChatGPT extensively to help with development, and I tested the documentation by asking Bing's LLM questions about the documentation. I should really credit them as Makers 😂.

Very nice, I'll definitely make use of this. It always bugged me that the Next.js component scaled on-demand, and yet I don't usually want to do a full static export.

@cybercody Thanks, if you have any ideas for what else it should do let me know; right now it's the minimum I need for my own blog refresh I'm working on :P
