Traction Copilot is a tool I built for myself, to identify the best traction channels to focus on for my B2B AI Platform. The tool is based on Gabriel Weinberg's Bullseye Framework, popular from his book "Traction". Generate ideas for traction, identify the channels to focus on, and execute and iterate faster. Hope you find it useful!

When I first read Traction by Gabriel Weinberg, one thing hit me hard:
Most founders don’t fail because of product.
They fail because they never systematically figure out distribution.
The book talks about 19 traction channels. But when I tried applying it, I realised something:
There is no structured execution system.
You read the book.
You get inspired.
And then… you go back to random marketing experiments.
So I built this tool to solve one problem:
Turn “Traction theory” into a repeatable operating system.
While building it, my approach evolved in 3 phases:
Phase 1 – Idea Dump
Initially I thought it should just be a checklist of the 19 channels.
Phase 2 – Structured Testing
Then I realised what founders actually need is a way to test channels in parallel, measure signals early, and kill channels fast.
Phase 3 – Traction as a System
Finally, I reframed it as a weekly execution engine:
• Define hypotheses
• Run constrained experiments
• Capture learnings
• Double down or discard
The biggest insight?
Traction is not marketing.
It’s disciplined experimentation.
This tool is my attempt to make that discipline easier.
Would love feedback from founders who’ve struggled with choosing the right channel.

I did many random things from going on podcasts to cold email outreaches. Publishing medium articles to video posts on LinkedIn.
Only after reading the book I realized I needed a method. Being a builder, marketing was never something I spent time on.

One of the craziest suggestion it gave me under the Unconventional PR channel was to create a job posting “Chief AI Scapegoat Officer” 😅 and drive people to a landing page.
I would never have thought about something like that!

I don’t think I could have even imagined some of the channels and suggestions I got from ai brainstorming.
