Track your favorite github awesome repo updates, not just star it. We track 500+ most popular awesome repos, so you can get the awesome updates daily or weekly. To provide a nice reading experience, we show the star count of each github repo next to it.
Hey Product Hunters 👋
I'm Owen, Thanks for your time!
After starring too many Github awesome repos, I found that I need to track them, not just star them. So I created trackawesomelist.com to track 500+ most popular awesome repos, updated daily, for free.
For browsing awesome repos on github, I have two pain points, one is that I can't see the latest added items, and the second is that I can't see the star count of the items, so I created trackawesomelist.com and solved my own pain points, I wonder if you also have these pain points.
@chmod_r_777@theowenyoung Thought that was the main use case :) Would be great to have something like that. Probably even connecting your Github account and subscribe to updates based on your stars.
@chmod_r_777@inakiabt Thanks, Yes, it would indeed be more convenient to provide such a feature. As a side project, I am now building regularly every day and generating static pages. To implement a true personal feed timeline, the whole site would need to be changed to a dynamic site, which feels a bit too heavy for a side project. But I'd love to have this feature, so if there are enough users, I'll want to do it! Thanks for the suggestion!
