Most design apps give you lines. TraceTile gives you pieces of glass you can actually cut. Draw from scratch or trace over a photo, and it flags pieces glass won’t make (sharp inside corners, deep curves, slivers) and can fix them for you. Pick glass colors, see the panel lit in 3D, then export a full-size PDF on numbered pages, or SVG and DXF for lasers and CNC. Runs in your browser; your designs stay on your device. Free to design. Exports free for 7 days, then $99 once.

Hi everyone! I am an hvac contractor, started my own one man repair and installation shop in AZ. On the side I have a small etsy store and design stained glass patterns and sell them on Etsy, which is filled with ai patterns or guide sheets and clearly most designs wouldn't cut unless its faux glass..
TraceTile started as a tool just for me. I wanted software that worked the way I think: drop in a photo or sketch, trace over it, and end up with a pattern I could actually cut, not a pile of loose lines I had to clean up.
Designing is free with no sign-up. Exports are free for 7 days, then $99 one time, no subscription.
If you work with glass, a laser or a Cricut, I’d really like to hear from you: what’s missing, what’s confusing, and what would make you use this?
