Hi everyone! I’m the creator of Trace. The inspiration behind Trace was a recurring pain point I saw in teams: every time a teammate leaves or a project shifts, institutional knowledge vanishes. We rely on fragmented silos and finding that one critical document or decision from six months ago is often impossible. I wanted to build a tool that acts as a "second brain" for organizations without compromising security. The biggest challenge was balancing deep retrieval capabilities with a strict "Zero-Data-Retention" policy—ensuring your data is never stored, only processed in transit.
