@ed_d1 Just gave it an upvote. I appreciate products that solve a simple problem without adding unnecessary friction, and keeping everything in the browser is a thoughtful touch. Congratulations on the launch. Which tool has surprised you by getting the most use so far?
Checked out the paycheck calculator for my state and it matched my actual take-home pretty closely, which was a nice surprise. The no-signup browser-only approach is refreshingly simple.
Love that this is open source and stays out of the way. One thing that would be really useful is adding a side-by-side compare for two states so you can see how your take-home pay changes if you move across the border.
The paycheck calculator actually updated the numbers live as I changed my state and filing status, which was a nice touch. Love that it's open source and doesn't ask for an email.
Love that this is open source and no signup needed, makes paycheck math way less painful. One idea: add a side-by-side compare feature for two states so you can see the net difference at a glance, especially helpful for people thinking about relocating for work.
Love that it's open source and no signup needed, super clean. One thing that would help a lot: a comparison view where I can see two states side by side, since the whole point is often figuring out where a move actually pays off.
A paycheck calculator that doesn't ask me to sign up is a breath of fresh air. One thing that would make this way more useful for me would be the ability to compare take-home pay between two states side by side, especially when considering a move.
