Hey Product Hunt! I’m Guillaume 👋
After years of trying complex time tracking tools that either drained my focus or bloated my workflow, I decided to build something... radically simpler.
🎯 Timer.cool is a lightweight, beautiful timer made to help you track your time effortlessly, stay productive, and actually enjoy the process.
Here’s what you get:
⚡ Start, pause, reset in a click (or with keyboard shortcuts like Space, S, R)
📊 Visual progress bar & detailed time (yes, down to milliseconds)
💾 Local storage of your past sessions
🌗 Dark/light mode that just feels right
📱 Works great on both desktop & mobile
🚀 Share your results on X, Telegram, Peerlist, and more coming soon
But that’s just the beginning.
🔮 Coming soon:
Teams 👥
Tags & analytics 📈
User accounts + cloud sync ☁️
I built this tool because I needed it for myself — and if you're like me, juggling side-projects, client work, or just trying to make sense of your day... I’d love for you to try it.

Your feedback means the world 🙏
If something feels off, clunky, or could be better — tell me. If you love it? Even better. Let’s shape this together 💬
Thanks for checking it out 🚀

@cranqnow Hello Sam, how are you? Thank you man! More is coming, this is only a 6 days work so far. I want to make it very smooth and efficient as possible with an analytics dashboard + a teams one to share timers! Best
At first, I have to admit that I didn't understand the appeal/use-case of Timer.cool. The idea of creating a web-based timer application seemed a bit strange. But that all changed when I saw the features that were coming soon, analytics and tags. That's when I realized that there was real potential and interesting use-cases
