Hey Product Hunt! I’m excited to introduce you to TimeDrip! TimeDrip takes your iOS Live Photos and turns them into smooth, high-frame-rate slow-motion videos, all done right on your device. It uses interpolation to boost the frame rate, giving you a 4x slowdown that looks just like a real slow-motion video. The idea came from thinking about all the unused video frames in Live Photos that we don’t even realize are there, just taking up space. iOS already has a “loop” and “bounce” feature for Live Photos in the Photos app, but it doesn’t really make them shine. It results in low frame rates and low-quality videos with little to no creative control. I designed TimeDrip to be super easy to use. Just pick a Live Photo, let the magic happen, and then tweak it with playback effects like loop, reverse, swing, trim, and crop for the platform. Save it and share it! Since everything happens locally on your device, there are no uploads, cloud processing, or network requests. I’d love to hear what you think and what features you’d like to see next!
