In Korea (and Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam…) wedding guests hand over cash in envelopes, and someone at a gift table writes down every name and amount. Afterwards families end up merging several messy spreadsheets and recounting the cash. I built Tie to replace that.
What makes it different:
• No accounts — the manage link is the key, so parents and the people at the gift table can join in seconds
• Several gift tables at once via QR + PIN, and entries are saved on the phone first, so flaky venue Wi-Fi doesn't lose anything
• Bills are counted per denomination, so the cash check at the end is just comparing counts
• Live sharing with family, amount-hidden share links, Excel export
• 6 languages and local currencies; guest phone numbers and bank details are never collected, and everything is deleted 12 months after the event
