Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Thngs around a problem that kept bothering me: we have incredible search for our digital world, but almost no way to search the physical things around us. We don't remember our stuff by inventory numbers. We remember what it looked like, where we found it, what it was related to, or some vague detail about it. That's what Thngs is designed around. Take photos of the things you want to remember, organize them into collections, and later search using natural descriptions or visual similarity. Private collections and searches stay on your device and work offline. Along the way, I realized collections could be useful for more than finding things, so I added Study Mode with flashcards, quizzes, and spaced repetition, as well as ways to share collections with others.
