The Threshold is an immersive web exhibition designed to act as a time capsule for the current moment in history—the precise moment where human-made culture is beginning to merge with (or be replaced by) machine-generated media. The Core Mechanism: It uses a "split" visual metaphor. On one side, it displays artifacts of Friction (things that took time, struggle, and human handiwork). On the other, it displays artifacts of Flow (things generated instantly by AI). The User Role: Visitors don't just consume; they contribute. Through "The Writing Desk," they leave personal testimonies about what they feel they are gaining or losing to the machine, effectively writing the history of this transition in real-time. The design of The Threshold is inspired by "Life Needs Internet" by Jeroen van Loon
