The Floor is a trading-operations desk you run yourself. Strategies, AI agents, a paper book, and a kill switch on every screen, all on your own machine. No account, no API key required, nothing sent to a server. There is a live demo with no signup if you want to click around first. Built by one person on a used Mac Mini, running unattended since May, with every number published including the flat weeks. Paper trading only. Education and tools, not advice.

Hi everyone, Chris here.
I built this because I wanted to know whether a set of AI agents could run a research desk end to end without me sitting over them. Three months later it does, on a used Mac Mini on my desk.
What The Floor is: a local console for running trading strategies and AI agents. Paper money only. It runs on your machine, your keys never leave it, and there is no account to create. There is a live demo with no signup if you want to click around before downloading anything.
Some numbers from my own instance, since I publish everything including the flat weeks. Up 4.47% since May, worst drawdown 5.3%, seven strategies each on its own account so I can tell which one is actually earning. I shut one of them off last week when its edge turned out to be a fluke of the backtest rather than anything real.
Two honest warnings before you download.
The Mac app is not notarized yet, so macOS will throw a security warning at you. That is on my list and it is my fault, not a sign anything is wrong. The install page walks through it.
And this is paper trading. I am not claiming an edge, and three months in a market that only went up proves very little. What I am claiming is that it runs unattended and publishes what it does either way.
Happy to answer anything about the agent setup, running scheduled jobs on a Mac, why the whole thing is dependency-free Python, or where the money went.
