The FFMI Calculator helps you estimate your Fat-Free Mass Index (FFMI), Normalized FFMI, lean body mass, and natural muscle potential in seconds. Built on the original 1995 FFMI research, it delivers fast, accurate calculations with clear explanations, making it easy for beginners and experienced lifters to understand their results.

honestly looks super clean and easy to use, love that it explains the numbers instead of just spitting them out. one thing though, would be cool if you could track your FFMI over time with a simple chart or log, basically so you can see if your training and nutrition are actually moving the needle.
@sabriboruc9hqs Thanks, Sabri! I really appreciate the feedback. A progress chart and history log are on my roadmap for a future update will add very soon.
Would love to see a history or tracking feature where I can log my FFMI over time and see progress charts, that would make it way more useful for long term lifting goals than just a one off calculation.
@mihribaneipp Thanks, Mihriban! I really appreciate the suggestion. Progress tracking is high on my list for future updates.
honestly this looks super useful, especially for people just getting into lifting and trying to figure out where they stand. one thing though, adding a way to save your stats over time would be really helpful so you can actually see how your FFMI changes as you train and adjust your nutrition.
@hlyaodfp Thanks, Hülya! I really appreciate the feedback. Progress tracking is a great suggestion, and I'll definitely consider adding it in a future update.
honestly this looks super useful, especially the normalized FFMI part since that always confused me. one thing i'd love to see is a way to track your FFMI over time, like inputting measurements weekly and seeing a graph of your progress. would make it way easier to see if you're actually building muscle or just spinning your wheels.
@urbay15861 Thanks, Hanife! I'm glad you found it useful. I really like the progress tracking idea and will definitely consider it for a future update. 💚
Finally tried this and the normalized FFMI breakdown actually made sense without me googling every term, which is rare for fitness calculators.
@demirel_ye77608 Thank you, Yeşim! That is exactly what I wanted to achieve, making FFMI and Normalized FFMI easy to understand without the extra research. Really glad it helped!
Finally a calculator that actually explains what FFMI means instead of just spitting out a number. The lean body mass breakdown was way more useful than I expected.
@ayfersayhan Thank you so much, Ayfer! That was exactly the goal behind building The FFMI Calculator. Really glad you found the lean body mass breakdown useful 🙂
