Even if you are not interested in becoming a Data Scientist, I think it's useful to read Roger D. Peng's & Elizabeth Matsui's book The Art of Data Science in order to understand the process of analyzing data.

In my humble opinion that Data Science lives at the intersection of quantitative skills, programming skills, and business acumen. While it is not easy to find someone great at all 3, most companies do not really need that unicorn. That's why I suggest getting into the basics all of it with sdsclub.com
