I built TextToBold because I kept needing bold text for Instagram bios and LinkedIn posts, but neither platform has a native bold button — so I was constantly switching between random converter sites full of ads and clunky UIs. The problem was simple: people need a fast, clean way to get Unicode bold text without digging through cluttered tools. So I focused on speed — real-time conversion, one-click copy, and zero friction. While building it, I realized one "bold" style wasn't enough — different platforms and use cases called for different looks. That's how it grew from a single converter into 18 styles, from classic bold serif to bubble text and fraktur.
