Teleprompt.me

The only web-based voice controlled teleprompter!

(Chrome Only) A voiced controlled teleprompter that uses your PC's built in microphone to scroll as you speak. Made to scratch my own itch – I have a hard time memorizing scripts for Youtube videos and it makes recording and editing a pain. So this helps a ton! Most other teleprompter apps and websites, use auto scroll - and that's pretty weak.

Have the flexibility to adjust the font size and color. Superb and big big Thank You!

Pros:

An awesome tool - comes in handy as I will be using your master piece to record a welcome video for an online course I just created 🙌🙌🙌

Cons:

Nope

Didn't work well for me. Couldn't keep my voice tracked beyond the first few words, and then I had to start scrolling.

I wrote a long reply but it got lost in "sign in with Facebook/Mercury Retrograde" hell. Good thing as I found out a workaround...here's the short version: It only scrolls to my voice for about a paragraph, then stops (with pro microphone through audio interface). Then...Tried it with the laptop speaker selected, not the pro mic, while recording to my digital audio workstation on the laptop, using the pro microphone - and it works really well. Stops now and then but if I click on the word where it hung and start speaking there, it responds and moves ahead. Seems like a workable situation for now, though I'm going to work with PromptSmart (not SmartPrompt as posted above) on my iphone and see which works better. Using this for audiobook narration.

Hello great video - please do let me know if and how it works on mobile? Thanks

I tried it today in Chrome, but it did not work. The script did not scroll when I began speaking.
