Upgrade your commute with TAUR, the electric scooter built for life in the city. It's beautiful, stable, portable, has huge wheels – and much more. Available now on Kickstarter.
I've known Ed for quite some time, so was excited to learn about Taur. I'm also a bit of a scooter addict - and for the most part, they're not designed with moving around a city in mind. Taur has been reimagined from the ground up (pun intended) for use in cities - more stability, better wheels, a strong frame and more.
They've been going strong on their Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/proj...), and I'm excited to share Taur with the Product Hunt community.
Hi Product Hunters, we're excited to share TAUR's Kickstarter with you – already 100% funded! The problem with electric scooters is that they've always been based on a ‘kick-scooter’ design; perfect for smooth ground at low speed (i.e. skateparks). They were never designed to withstand potholes, power up hills or ride at night. They're top heavy and you stand too close to a tiny front wheel. They also take ages to charge, aren’t great to look at, can easily get stolen and require a PhD in engineering to change a tyre. TAUR's Electric Road Scooter is our solution to all that :) @apparentlycarson
