Most expense trackers make you feel guilty, pressured, or overwhelmed. I built TapSpent because I wanted a calmer relationship with money — not another app constantly reminding me what I was doing wrong. TapSpent combines expense tracking with mindfulness and reflection, helping you become more aware of your spending habits without shame or anxiety. The goal isn’t perfection. Just clarity, awareness, and a little more peace around money.

Love the calm approach here, the daily reflection prompt actually got me thinking about a habit I’d been overlooking. Does it work offline or do I need to be online for everything?
love the calm angle here, it's so needed. one thing i'd love is a weekly "money mood" check-in that pairs with the reflection feature, asking you to tag how you felt about spending that week. would make the patterns even easier to spot over time.
Love the mindfulness angle, feels really different from the usual trackers. One thing that would help me actually use it: a weekly reflection prompt, like a short question that shows up Sunday evening to nudge you to think about how your spending felt that week, not just what it was.
the focus on mindfulness over guilt feels really intentional, like you actually thought about how people emotionally react to opening an expense tracker instead of just stacking features. refreshing change from the usual “maximize your savings” apps.
Love how you framed this around mindfulness instead of guilt, that shift in tone is rare and honestly pretty refreshing. The whole premise feels like it was built by someone who actually thought about how stressful money tracking usually feels.
