Love how simple this is, no app friction is huge. One idea: add a short voice note option so the person scanning can quickly explain the situation (blocked in, scratched bumper) instead of just picking preset messages. Would make it way more useful for those hectic parking lot moments.

You're right that presets can't cover everything. "Someone reversed into you, silver Audi, here's the plate" doesn't fit a button.
We looked at voice notes early on and pulled back for one reason: anonymity is the thing that makes people willing to help. A voice recording identifies someone — accent, gender, rough age — and we think that quietly stops a lot of people from bothering. There's a moderation problem too, since we'd be hosting audio from anonymous strangers.
Where we've landed is an optional free-text box after the preset. Same flexibility for the messy real-world cases, no identity leak, and it's still faster than recording audio in a car park.
Genuinely useful prompt though — the scratched bumper scenario is the one we hear most and it's exactly why presets alone aren't enough.
Got one for my van and the no-app scan was genuinely the first thing that sold me. Reply came through on WhatsApp while I was at the till, which felt properly clever.

The no-app thing was the whole bet, honestly. Every version of this idea that came before needed the person scanning to download something, and nobody's doing that in a car park for a stranger. Getting it down to "point your camera, tap a button" was the hard part.
Also quietly pleased it reached you at the till — that's exactly the moment it's meant for.
