So I built TalkBuddy around one idea: you get better at speaking by speaking, not by tapping the right answer in a quiz. Here's how a session works today: 🗣️ Prepare — a quick warm-up with a few useful phrases, so they're already familiar 🎙️ Speak — a real, out-loud conversation with an AI buddy about everyday stuff, no multiple choice 📝 Learn — afterwards it pulls out the phrases you actually used, not random vocab 📚 Build — those get saved into your own library, with pronunciation, organized by topic No judgment, no pressure, no streak guilt-tripping you at midnight. Just a few minutes of real talking a day. But this is just v1 — the foundation. Where I'm taking it: a buddy that genuinely remembers you. Every learner gets their own memory — it holds onto the words you struggled with, the topics you care about, the way you actually talk — and quietly shapes future conversations around that.
