I built it because I wanted to leave my iPhone at home for walks and runs while listening to audiobooks I already owned, but I couldn't find a straightforward way to know the audio was actually available on my Watch before heading out. TaleReady imports DRM-free MP3, M4A, and chaptered M4B files on iPhone. You choose how much listening time to prepare, and the app only calls it ready after the Watch has stored and verified the playable audio. There is no account, advertising, tracking, analytics, or subscription. Core import, iPhone playback, and manual preparation of the next hour are free. The optional $7.99 lifetime purchase adds larger Watch windows, Always Ready, and automatic cleanup. This is a first public release from a solo developer, so honest feedback—especially about real Apple Watch use—is very welcome.
