Tab Sleep automatically puts your idle browser tabs to sleep freeing up RAM without closing them or losing your work. If you're the type who keeps 20, 30, or 50+ tabs open at once, you already know the problem: Chrome slows down, your fan spins up, and your laptop struggles to keep up. Tab Sleep fixes this by discarding tabs you haven't touched in a while, while keeping them right where they are in your tab bar just one click away from reloading exactly where you left off.

Hi everyone! I'm excited to launch my new Chrome extension today.
I built this extension to solve a problem I personally faced. I wanted something that was fast, lightweight, privacy-friendly, and simple to use without unnecessary complexity.
Some highlights:
* Fast and lightweight
* Privacy-friendly
* Easy to use
* Built for everyday productivity
This is just the beginning, and I have many improvements planned based on user feedback.
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts:
* What do you like?
* What would you improve?
* Which feature would you like to see next?
Thank you for checking it out and supporting an indie developer. Every upvote, comment, and piece of feedback means a lot! ❤️

The way it keeps the tab visible in the bar instead of just nuking it is exactly right, makes the whole thing feel low-friction rather than another cleanup nag. Solid execution on a problem every tab hoarder deals with.

@magdenmahm80499 Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm really glad to hear the extension has been working well for you and that you've noticed the performance improvements.
If you ever have ideas for new features or improvements, I'd love to hear them—user feedback is what helps make the extension better with every update.
And if you're enjoying the extension, I'd really appreciate it if you could leave a quick review on the Chrome Web Store as well. It helps a lot and supports future development. Thanks again for your support! 😊

Was skeptical my tabs would just reload cleanly but it worked, even with a giant Google Doc left idle for hours. Fan noise on my old MacBook dropped noticeably within a day.
