Some symbols are very difficult to type out. Personally, as an average human, I can only remember a handful of “alt 0147” maniac keyboard “long-cuts” to type out a common symbol like “. Symbols to copy come to the rescue!

Well done. I've already replaced copypastecharacter.com (which became buggy and bloated with ads) with this in my bookmarks toolbar.
Feature request: Ability to save a set of favorites that appears above the main list.

@wentin I was going to suggest that. I think you'll get more usage if ppl don't have to create an account.
@jud5on would love to do that, but it is hacked upon Notion (another product). I am thinking about making it into a new version if this really takes off. so I can have full control of the user experience, the search the the #1 problem to fix. I am also thinking adding user favorites and copy history, utilizing localStorage so it is private
