Stop paying for URL shortener with rigid control. Syano is open-source, enterprise ready—host it yourself marketing tool. Everything you needed to have your own link management tool. Features: Dark mode, user management, API, link expiration, Password locking, Device redirects (iOS/Android) + analytics Link-in-a-bio page maker Nuxt and Postgres. Stick it on Vercel or a VPS. Use Neon or Supabase for the DB. POC: https://syano.vercel.app/
Hey. I built Syano because I wanted a link tool I actually owned and have control over my data.
It’s a self-hosted url shortener and a "Link-in-Bio" builder in one. No limits or paywalls. I used Nuxt 3 and Postgres to keep it fast. It can be deployed in serverless enviroment as well. You get real analytics (world maps, device stats, etc.), but the data stays on your server.
Basically, it's an open source bitly alternative.
Check the code on GitHub. If you’re into self-hosting, what’s the biggest headache you usually face? I'm curious what features I should bake in next.
