I'd lose my ideas while watching podcasts, during a Spotify jam, scrolling at 2 AM. Not because I wasn't trying to remember. Because by the time I opened my notes app, unlocked my phone, and started typing, the idea had already dissolved. So I made Sweesh, It runs on your machine. Transcriptions stay local, API keys stay encrypted, nothing hits my servers. You bring your own key, so no limits, no fees, no restrictions. Your data never leaves your device. Zero collection, full control.

I got so tired of losing ideas mid-thought that I built my first software to solve it.
I'd lose them while watching podcasts, during a Spotify jam, scrolling at 2 AM. Not because I wasn't trying to remember. Because by the time I opened my notes app, unlocked my phone, and started typing, the idea had already dissolved into wait, what was I going to write?
The breaking point? A complete product vision I'd been chasing for weeks, finally crystallizing during a random podcast. The kind of idea that doesn't come back the same way twice.
Google's keyboard AI disconnects mid-sentence. Windows speech to text turns off randomly or butchers the spelling. ChatGPT's voice messages vanish after you've poured out 5 minutes of thoughts. We've normalized this. "Try again." "Speak slower." "Check your connection."
But ideas don't wait. They dissolve.
SWEESH stores everything locally. Your transcriptions live on your device. Your API key is encrypted with Windows DPAPI, not sitting on my server. No subscription fee to access your own thoughts. If I disappear tomorrow, this still works. Your data stays yours.
Hold Ctrl+Shift+M. Speak. Release. Done. The transcription is already in your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. No app switching. No wondering if it caught everything.
I built this for capturing ideas before they evaporate, that half-formed concept while watching a video, the sudden clarity about a problem you've been circling, the complete narrative that only makes sense right now.
Is it perfect? No. Will it change the world? Probably not. But it solved my problem, and I'm not alone.
Try it. Tell me what's missing and sorry if the ui is bad I'd try to fix it on June. If possible please star it on GitHub. https://github.com/hasin-codes/s...
