Sweep Weasel helps reclaim phone storage by grouping duplicate and similar photos, finding blurry or dark shots, surfacing old screenshots and chat clutter, and prioritizing oversized videos. Every scan and cleanup decision happens on-device: no cloud upload, no account, and no data collection. Photos never leave the phone. Monetization is intentionally restrained—the app contains only one ad.

I built Sweep Weasel because cleaning a photo library should not require uploading it or creating an account. The hardest product decision was making the cleanup flow fast while keeping every deletion deliberate. I would especially value feedback on the grouped-review and swipe-to-clean experience, and whether the privacy promise is immediately clear.

Really like the on-device approach and the one-ad model, that alone sets it apart from the usual cleanup apps. One thing I'd love: a "before/after storage summary" that shows exactly how many MB you freed per category after a cleanup run, so I can see if it was worth the effort.

The on-device approach really stands out, especially for something handling photos people might not want leaving their phone. Love that the monetization is restrained too, just one ad feels almost generous these days.

honestly love that the whole thing runs on-device, feels like the team actually thought through the privacy angle instead of just slapping a checkbox on it. and only one ad is kind of a power move tbh
