We built Sumzy around a simple problem: shoppers rarely read every product review, especially when there are dozens or hundreds of them. The useful information is already there. It is just buried across pages of individual opinions. Merchants collect all that feedback, but most shoppers only see a rating, a few recent reviews, or whichever comment happens to be the loudest. Sumzy reads the reviews already in a WooCommerce or Shopify store and turns them into one clear, balanced summary on the product page. It highlights the themes that keep coming up, including recurring complaints, without replacing or hiding the original reviews. The first version was much simpler. It generated a short summary and stopped there. As we worked on it, the harder questions became more important: How do we stop one unusual review from taking over? How should older feedback be treated after a product improves? How do we keep merchants in control without giving them another complicated tool to manage? That shaped the product we are launching today. Summaries stay current as reviews change, merchants can review and edit them, and there are no API keys or separate AI accounts to configure. Sumzy reads the reviews and writes the summary. It has one job. We would genuinely appreciate feedback from store owners, developers, and anyone who has ever opened a product page with 347 reviews and immediately given up.
