The idea behind SuccessionKeeper platform was born from a very turbulent plane ride 10 years ago - It was sudden and sent the food and drinks from the trays up in the air. It felt like the plane fell into an air pocket and it was followed by a violent shaking of the plane. I sat there thinking about my wife and my kids. That part everyone thinks about. I had pension accounts in the US from when I worked there, a workplace pension in the UK and over time I had accumulated other financial accounts, not with much, but it was a start. If that flight had ended differently, she would have been starting from zero - no list, no map, no starting point. Just a mountain of detective work. I looked for a solution. There wasn't one that felt right - secure, simple but also one that checks in on you. We built SuccessionKeeper to be that place. A private vault with regular check-ins, family account linking and cross-border asset support - so your family always has a starting point, not a search party.
