One thing that would really help my salon would be SMS reminders that go out automatically a day before the appointment, with an easy option for clients to confirm or reschedule. Right now no-shows are a constant headache and that kind of nudge would save me a lot of lost time each week.
@nihalptxx Great feedback! That's one of the reasons I built this tool, was to overcome the pain points of this industry (i.e. no shows). The SMS feature will absolutely handle that, and I'll be sure it has the ability to go out one day in advance.
Finally a booking plugin that doesn't feel like a calendar app with salon lipstick on it. The four-tap flow actually holds up and I had a stylist set up in under ten minutes.
@aydnjnbf "Salon lipstick on a calendar app" — I might have to steal that line, because that's exactly what I was trying to avoid. And "under ten minutes to set up a stylist" is the number I care about most. Was there any step in the setup that felt slower than it should? Always trying to shave time off onboarding.
Love that the four-tap flow actually lets clients pick both service and professional separately—most booking plugins force one or the other and it creates friction. Clean execution for a free tool too.
@enaypbab Thank you! Separating service and professional was a deliberate call — in a salon, who you book with matters as much as what, so a single dropdown always felt wrong. And keeping the core genuinely usable for free (not crippled to force an upsell) is the whole philosophy, so that means a lot. Do your clients tend to book by service first, or by their favorite pro?
