Hi all, I've been working on this API for a couple of years now, thought I'd finally share it here! I initially started building it because I wanted to build a movie recommendation engine, but all the options I found to enrich it with streaming metadata were quite expensive for me to afford. That's why I decided to build my own. It currently supports all the major streaming services across 60 countries, including Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Apple TV, Disney+, Hulu, and many more! It also supports Prime Video and Apple TV channels, as well as Hulu add-ons. Here you can see the full list of supported countries and platforms: https://docs.movieofthenight.com... Via Streaming Availability API, you can: - Get global streaming availability information of a show via either a TMDB or IMDb id, - Search within streaming catalogs via various filters, such as genres, release years, keywords, and sort them in numerous ways. An example query you can submit is "Get me all action movies on Netflix and Prime Video catalogs in the United States, with the keyword "zombie", ordered by popularity within this year." - Get daily Top 10 lists - Get the list of upcoming, expiring, recently added shows/seasons/episodes. The data returned include: - Deep links into movies, series, seasons, and episodes within streaming apps. - Video quality, list of available audios, subtitles - Expiry date of the streaming option - IMDb and TMDB ids - Price, for rental and purchase options (for the content you can buy/rent on Prime Video and Apple TV) - Information about the movie/series itself such as overview, cast, directors/creators - Images such as horizontal and vertical posters; and horizontal and vertical backdrops. It's a self-service API available on RapidAPI: https://rapidapi.com/movie-of-th... It also has a free plan available which you can start using right away without giving out any payment/credit-card info. And paid plans start as low as 29 USD per month. You can follow this guide to get your free API key: https://docs.movieofthenight.com... Once you get your key, you can start testing the API using the "Try Yourself" section as a playground on our documentation site: https://docs.movieofthenight.com... Or start using it with one of our official client libraries: https://docs.movieofthenight.com... If you'd like to create a client library in another language, here you can see the OpenAPI spec: https://github.com/movieofthenig... And finally, you can find the full documentation here: https://docs.movieofthenight.com/ Do not hesitate to ask any questions you have!
