Hi Product Hunt, I'm Anthony, I make sTrain.
Most gym apps want a subscription before you've logged a single set. sTrain doesn't. You build your week, push/pull/legs, upper/lower, full body or your own split, tap Start, and it walks you through the workout set by set with a rest timer between sets. You can keep the screen on, so you're not unlocking your phone with chalk on your hands.
What it does:
- Training days built from an exercise library, or start from a ready-made program
- Log what you actually lifted, set by set, rest timer built in
- Add a note or an extra exercise mid-workout from one menu
- A stats tab with a streak and your weekly activity
- Six colour themes and dark mode, all free. kg or lb.
Free covers up to three training days, with no time limit. Pro is a one-time purchase: unlimited training days, personal records and progress, the activity calendar, plan sharing, and full backup and restore. No subscription.
Privacy, plainly: no account, no ads, works offline. If you want your plans and history on another device, Sapplify Sync is free and opt-in, on EU servers, and not end to end. There's anonymous usage analytics, and you can switch it off in settings.
