Hey, Ashkan here. I built StowLink because my browser bookmarks were a holding pen, not a library.
It’s a native Mac app (macOS 14+). Copy a URL, hit the global shortcut, file it in nested folders, add a note, and jump back with ⌘K. Page and video previews sit next to the link. Everything stays on your Mac, or in your iCloud if you want.
No StowLink account.

$29 once, two Macs, no subscription. You can download the notarized app first and paste the license key after you pay.
There’s also a free iPhone app (Share Sheet). It works on its own. Same iCloud library if you later get the Mac license.
Happy to answer anything. If your bookmark bar is a graveyard, this is the thing I wanted.
Hey all, so I'm also working on getting an iOS version of the app as well which will sync with the desktop app (but can work completely standalone as well if you want too). There has been some delays with Apple App Store reviews recently so will take a little bit to push it out, but it is definitely on its way!
You will be able to keep both the macos, iPhone, and iPad all in sync with iCloud
