First of all, I built this project for myself. One of my hobbies is 3D printing, and one day I needed to share a model with a friend who had no way to open it. Naturally, the first idea was to use some online viewer, and that is exactly what I did. I found one that rendered a nice image, but it turned out I could not actually share the model there. Other viewers allowed sharing, but the rendering quality was not as good, and many required registration. Later, other needs appeared that were implemented in different viewers, but unfortunately I could never find a single free tool that could satisfy all my requirements. Since I am a programmer by profession and have long lived by the principle "if something you need does not exist, build it yourself", this project was born. Today I want to share it with others. I continue working on it in my free time, constantly improving it, adding new features, fixing bugs, and more. At the same time, I believe it is already very usable today, and I hope that with the community’s help in finding bugs and suggesting new ideas, the project will become useful for many people.
