Hi PH, I made Still Here because I live alone, and one weekend I was ill enough that I barely got out of bed. It hit me that nobody would have noticed before Monday.
Every "check in daily" app I tried, I stopped using within a week. So this one asks nothing of you: the phone reports when it locks and unlocks, a small server watches, and it only speaks up when the silence gets long. The hard part was doing that within Apple's rules, with no background hacks, and I'm happy to explain how in the comments.
It's free and will stay free for personal use. I'd love to hear who you'd want watching over you, and what would make you trust it.
