Hi Product Hunt, I'm Vincent, the founder of Steade.
I built Steade because I don't think anyone needs twenty options to choose from. Too much choice works against you when it's time to decide. You need time to get to know one person, and a conversation without distractions.
So Steade has no feed and no swiping. Twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday at 8 pm, a matching round looks for one person who meets what you both said matters, including up to three dealbreakers each of you sets. You see their profile and up to three plain reasons for the introduction, such as "You both want children". If you both accept within 48 hours, chat opens.
The matching starts from the Gale-Shapley stable matching method, then picks the stable set of introductions where the pairs fit each other best, so neither men nor women are favoured by design.

Every member's identity is checked before their profile goes live.
Links and phone numbers are blocked in chat for a new member's first 14 days, to slow down scammers.
