A developer got fired for pasting an API response into a popular JSON formatter. The tool logged everything. Security team found it three weeks later. That's why I built Status202 — 18 developer tools (JSON, JWT, CSV, XML, Base64, Regex & more) that run 100% in your browser. Zero data sent to any server. Works offline. No signup. No account. Free. Open status202 paste data → click Transform. Watch nothing get transmitted.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Debasish, the solo dev behind Status202 — I built this after a colleague got fired for pasting an API response into a JSON formatter that logged everything server-side. Every tool here runs 100% in your browser with zero data transmitted — open status202.com → paste anything → click Transform and see for yourself. I'm here all day for questions, feedback, and tool requests!

Privacy-first dev tools are genuinely useful, congrats on shipping this. One thing that would make it even better for me - add a small visual indicator confirming the tool is fully offline when working with sensitive data, something like a lock icon turning green when you paste in tokens or headers. Reassurance through clear UI cues goes a long way for paranoid security folks like me who still hesitate before pasting.

@safiyeacrt Thank you so much for this — this is exactly the kind of feedback and guidance i was looking for.
Sure I will definitely add a visual indicator to let the users know that everything is secure and never leaves the system.

Would love to see a browser extension version that can right-click any selected text and format it inline, so I don't have to paste back and forth. Also a dark mode would be nice since the current white background gets harsh during long debugging sessions.

Hey @safiyeacrt ,@emeldemirkollu just a quick update on the feedbacks that you provided. As promised I implemented a separate toggle for dark and light mode and also added the visual indicator for offline porcessing. Thanks for those feedbacks hope you like my efforts.
