Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Roman, the developer behind StatePort.
I built it because getting back to a bug can become a task of its own: the right account, view, form inputs, and API responses. Then you change the code—and rebuild the setup again. Your coding agent runs into the same problem.
StatePort saves the setup so you and your agent can work from it again. Capture a supported web-app setup, review it, and save it as a State Card. Then reopen that Card against your current local code. Through MCP, your coding agent can inspect and work from the saved reproduction. StatePort provides the reproduction tools; your agent works on the code, and you check the result.
A recent run on my work machine convinced me it was time to put this in other developers’ hands: I gave my agent a bug ticket, asked it to capture a Card, then asked for a fix. Capture and the fix took about 4 minutes in that case. One case, not a benchmark—but exactly the workflow I’d been building toward.
The public beta is available for macOS Apple silicon and Linux x64 (DEB). Capture is free. Reopening against current code and execution through agents use the 14-day Developer trial or paid access. No payment card is needed for the trial.
This isn’t a backend snapshot or a universal recorder. Some apps and authentication flows can still block a case, and agent integrations are in preview, with compatibility varying by host.
