Hey Product Hunt community!
We're @ziya_anjum and @aasiya_hadiya , and today we launched StashVault an AI-powered personal ownership assistant that helps you never lose track of receipts, warranties, and return deadlines again.
The idea came from a very relatable problem: scrambling to find a receipt or warranty card the exact day something breaks. StashVault centralizes everything extracts details from your receipts using AI, tracks expiration/return windows, and even generates a claim checklist when something goes wrong.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We're Ziya and Aasiya, and we're excited to bring StashVault to this community today.
Origin story: Ziya's laptop charger died right after what we thought was the warranty period — turned out we still had 3 months of coverage left, but the receipt was buried in a Gmail thread from January and took nearly an hour to dig up. Aasiya's response was "why are we still doing this in 2026," and that turned into StashVault.
So — what it actually does. You snap a photo of a receipt and our OCR pulls the product, brand, price, date, and serial number out of it automatically. If something's missing or unclear, it stays blank instead of guessing, which mattered a lot to us after testing a few tools that just made things up.
Everything you add lands in "My Stash," sorted into categories like Electronics, Appliances, and Personal items. From there we track warranty and return windows in the background — items get tagged Active, Expiring Soon, Expired, or Review Needed, so you're not the one keeping a mental calendar of every purchase date.
The feature we're most proud of is the "Something's Wrong" flow. If something breaks, it checks whether you're still covered, pulls up the invoice, and writes a ready-to-send warranty or service claim for you — what used to take 20 minutes of hunting for the right words now takes about 20 seconds.
There's also a dashboard for a quick "what do I own, what's covered, what needs attention" view, and your original receipts and documents live securely with each item — no more digging through downloads or drawers.
Design-wise, we went deliberately calm and pastel — we didn't want this to feel like another spreadsheet with extra steps.
Try it out at the link above — we'd love to hear what's confusing, what's missing, or what you'd want next. We'll be in the comments all day. And if it's useful, an upvote goes a long way .
