I built Startr because I lived the problem. After graduating from UM in 2024 I spent months looking for a technical co-founder. LinkedIn gave me individuals who are looking for salaries. Reddit gave me scammers. CoFoundersLab gave me bots. YC matching took months. Every platform got me to the introduction — none of them told me if we were actually compatible. The problem I was trying to solve: compatibility testing. A coffee chat is not a compatibility test. A great LinkedIn profile is not a compatibility test. But 48 hours solving a real business problem together under pressure, that is. How my approach evolved: I started building a simple matching platform. Then I realized matching was the easy part. The hard part was trust. So I added proof of work requirements — builders show GitHub, operators show traction. Then I added the 48-hour compatibility challenge. Then AI scoring. What's the hardest part of finding a co-founder?

Hey, my name is Eleonora, I am founder of Startr! We're launching May 21st!!!

I built Startr because for months I was searching on LinkedIn, Reddit, CoFoundersLab, and YC matching for a cofounder, but had no luck. I realized that the current tools don't actually test compatibility, just list skill sets.
