I've only played with this tool, but this is the only online web design/development tool that gets the most important things right IMO.
1) Real, actual Bootstrap based, for a smooth prototype workflow back and forth between design and development, including theme support
2) File manager, with multiple files editable and linkable. Upload and download
3) simultaneous code and visual editing.
I want to use WebFlow, but I can't build web apps on their non-standard and undocumented css, and it is extremely hard from them to change that now, and they don't even seem to "get" this problem. If they made something of their framework, it would mitigate this, but I still couldn't use the huge resources behind Bootstrap (tutorials, hacks, themes, designer/developer experience, rails and ember components etc) Other bootstrap editors are more like jsFiddle in that they're either developer focussed or intended for a simple proof of concept, not for developing a whole site project with.
And being able to edit code and see the visual result instantly, or drag and drop then modify the code immediately enables a smooth workflow without delays/holdups/extra procedures.
In this industry, a dodgy ripoff is just that, but we all build things based on what others have got right, and I'm glad that these guys have seen what WebFlow got right and wrong, and actually built something with better fundamentals, apparently good implementation, and maybe not the same exceptional degree of polish, but so what?
What does concern me however, is that these guys seem to have moved onto http://slicebread.co/team and the last release of stackhive was nearly 2 years ago (http://stackhive.com/releases). I think I'm going to use it anyway for a client project, and I hope they keep it alive and/or sell it to a company that does. There are bound to be bugs etc and I'm wondering whether in actual use it will be good enough quality-wise.
