Squad XI is a free football (soccer) lineup builder with 23,000+ real players. Pick any club or national team, choose a formation, drag players onto the pitch, and share your starting XI as an image. Includes World Cup 2026 predicted squads. No signup, works offline.

Honestly love that this works offline, super handy on match days. One thing that would be a game changer for me though, can you add the option to save multiple lineups per team? Like I want to keep my experimental 4-2-3-1 separate from my classic 4-3-3 for the same squad without having to redo everything each time.
@yiitellezf6fzΒ Hey YiΔit β thank you, this is genuinely useful feedback π
Good news: you can already get most of the way there today.
β’ You can save multiple squads (up to 10), so your classic 4-3-3 and your experimental 4-2-3-1 can both live in your list.
β’ And when you switch formations, your players stay on the pitch β Squad XI re-arranges them into the new shape instead of wiping the board. So you don't have to redo anything to try a 4-2-3-1.
That said, the gap you hit is real: right now, if you load a saved squad and save again, it updates that squad instead of creating a copy β so keeping both variants side by side is clunkier than it should be.
So a "Save as a new squad" / duplicate button is exactly the missing piece, and you've just pushed it to the top of my list. Thanks for spelling it out so clearly.
Keep it coming β if anything else trips you up on match day, I want to hear it. β½
finally tried this and the drag and drop feels really smooth, the world cup 2026 squads are a nice touch for a free tool.
@abdulkadir44638Β Thanks Abdulkadir, that genuinely means a lot π
The drag feel took an embarrassing number of iterations to get right, so I'm glad it landed. And the World Cup 2026 squads are the real called-up 26-man lists, not guesses β I keep them in sync as the tournament unfolds.
If you haven't stumbled on them yet, two things people tend to enjoy: Auto Build (pick any club or country and it fills the whole XI instantly) and player photos (drop a real face onto any player β makes the shared image look properly pro).
Which team's XI did you build first? π
Love how quickly I can throw together lineups without signing up for anything. One thing that would make this even better is letting users compare two squads side by side, maybe even letting you toggle formations and see both starting XIs on the same screen.
@muhammed54207Β Thanks Muhammed β and glad the no-signup part lands. That was a hill I was willing to die on π
Side-by-side comparison isn't there today β right now it's one board at a time. The closest you can get is saving both squads and switching between them, which I know isn't the same thing.
But here's the thing: you're the second person in this thread asking for better multi-squad handling (someone else wants to keep a 4-3-3 and a 4-2-3-1 of the same squad side by side). So it's clearly a real gap, not a nice-to-have. It's moving up the list.
One question that would genuinely help me build the right thing: are you mostly wanting to compare two variants of the same squad (your 4-3-3 vs your 4-2-3-1), or two different teams (your XI vs the opponent's)? Those pull the design in pretty different directions.
Either way β thanks for spelling it out. β½
