Sprints is a simple and user-friendly productivity tracker for Mac, that lives on the menubar and helps you get more productive on your tasks day by day.

Makes a lot of sense in the current scenario, where work from home has become the new normal, it has increased work hours while decreasing productivity.
Such an app would help in making sure that when running my sprints my focus is on point. Really great app.
Big fan of pomodoro method and have tried several attempts at menu bar apps but all of them were either too complicated or unintuitive/poorly designed.
This so far seems to have a prefect balance of all the things i liked from tomato one with some smart improvements. Great work!
@alex_johnson7 Thank you so much Alex. I am glad you found it useful.
I tried to keep it as simple as possible just like a stopwatch. And I wish to make it more subtle and precise day by day.

This is great, Jimut! I did research in my previous career on Pomodoro technique, and had my older students use it extensively with their studies (I was a former teacher.)
I finished my first sprint this morning and got lots of great work done, thanks to you!
One thing I'll note to others downloading is that at first, I was really confused as to whether it was installed successfully or not. The app icon disappears after it launches, but you'll see a small 0 appear at the top of your screen, right by the battery/date/time. That's where Sprints is located.
@regina_gerbeaux Thank you so much, Regina, for using Sprints and a lot more thanks for pointing this out. I will keep this in mind.
Maybe a hint for this in the installation screen will help people find it faster in the first run.
In these quarantine times, I found it difficult to focus on a specific task. And when I did try hard to focus I got stressed out after a few hours.
I found the Pomodoro technique to be quite helpful. It gave me a time slot between which I had to complete a task, followed by a break to clear my mind.
Another thing I struggled a lot is with changing context between different tasks, most of the time I worked on a single thing a day. This technique helped in that too because of the work, break, work structure.
I used the stopwatch on my phone to do this. It was fast. I wanted something like that in my Mac on the menubar. Never found something that can be started with just a keyboard shortcut from anywhere.
Like that Sprints was created.
Also when I used my phone I used to keep track of the number of times I completed a sprint by which I could measure my actual effective amount of time I put into my work that day along with tracking my day to day productivity.
The counter is a new thing that I added, hope you will also find it useful in similar ways.
